My dear Browning

All thanks for the Sordello—which I have this Instant (11 o’Clock Monday Evening) received—& which I acknowledge thus early, that you may not deem me remiss. The book has remained at Storeys Gate ever since you left it there.

The outside is admirable, for its simplicity & elegance. Now for the Inside!——

Wishing you (& it) all success & pleasure.

I am very sincerely yours

B W Procter
