My dear Chorley,

Herewith comes my new number—may it please you! I venture to beg Miss Chorley’s acceptance of a copy—can you forward it?

But the real thing you shall accept, if you will be so good, is the “Dutch-English Interpreter” .. see the poetry of that, at a place or two I mark! and after .. ah, what a prize I have for you, when I quite get it .. wait but a day or two! And meantime know me for yours ever

I believe I had better trouble you also with Reeve’s copy .. tho’ I have his address somewhere: but any time will be my time, if a month hence[.]
