Correspondence

3966.5. EBB to Mary Amalia Tassinari

Addendum to The Brownings’ Correspondence, vol. 24.

Casa Guidi

Thursday– [19 February 1857] [1]

My dear Mdme Tassinari [2]

My husband is out. How am I to venture to answer for him?

Still it does seem to me that the fourth tier would be high, especially for Isa Blagden,—and that we had better take M. Tassinari’s advice & wait till the evening for the third tier & reduced prices, if he is of opinion that there would be no risk of losing the chance of a box at all, involved in waiting.

But he must know more on the subject than we do.

Very truly yours

Elizabeth Barrett Browning
