My dearest Friend /

I send you most confidentially the rest of the memoirs—go through carefully & let me send for them monday—& give me your honest opinion[.] What a life mine has been!

Acknowledge the receipt & do be careful!! My dear Friend, of fire—not a word at present even to your Sisters[.] Perhaps you ought not to see them! God knows[.]
