My dear Cousin

I must needs pay you the compliment of asking you to look over these verses for me—but as I know you are predetermined to be spiteful and vindictive I give you warning that I will accept or reject your criticisms just as I please–

If you have no organ of obstinacy, I have– And for the repetition of words which you will find in every stanza, I warn you I have made them because I choose to make them. May I call for your cynicisms tomorrow or Wednesday. Truly ys notwithstanding
