My ever dearest Ba

We went out today in a large party with bows and arrows to shoot however we were unfortunate enough not to make our dinner in our rambles over the hills Henrietta went with us, and I can tell is becoming a famous marksman. This morning it was a very frosty morning though not quite hard enough to slide but tomorrow morning I anticipated a good slide and of course a few good falls, however I was disapointed by an untimely thaw which blasted all my hopes and spoiled all my sliding. My dearest Ba I must wish you good bye as the letter must go.
