I expect the boy to be at your house by 12 o’clock. If he is sooner—he can wait longer; but I fear I cannot have the advantage of our reunion if you keep him beyond ¼ past 12, or ½ hour at the utmost.

Be so kind as to say on the outside of the proof “Boy: left Wimpole St at … (the time)[”]. This is a terror to act upon him on the way back. Yrs H.
