Miss Barrett presents her compliments to Messrs Wiley & Putnam; & being directed by her friend Mr Cornelius Mathews to consign to their care for transmission to America the accompanying packet, she takes the liberty of doing so. As it contains sheets of a work for publication in America, she wd be greatly obliged by the transmission being made with speed & care—& shd be very glad if she is not too late for the ship about to sail.
