My dear Browning–

We must, I find, postpone our pleasant holiday for a few days– Our Lunacy Meeting [1] which was to have been on the Wednesday, is now—that day being the Derby—put off to our Thursday—& the next day (Friday) is my wife’s party, where we hope to see you.

When that magnificent affair is over we will arrange our Arcadian matters, which I shall enjoy much more, when I have got a little leisure.
