My dear Sir

If I can have, without being inconvenient, four copies or even three, of my poems soon .. before the general issue, .. I shall be obliged by your giving directions to that effect.

And I wished to explain that, when the books are ready, in the case of your caring to have at your private disposal a few copies, you must do me honour by accepting what you require. Pray do not take the trouble of answering this note. I shall understand the silence to mean that an early rendering of copies wd be inconvenient.
