My dearest Friend /

I am going to ask you a great favor– My dear daughter, is still delicate & anxious to employ her mind. She wishes, & I no longer oppose it, to educate a genteel child from 4 to 10—in English, French, Italian & music. Is it in your power to plant her in that point as daily Governess?—she is a gentle Creature, & will see you, if you can see her—& I shall be everlastingly obliged, if you get her something to do– [1]
