2364.5. RB to Thomas Powell
Addendum to The Brownings’ Correspondence, vol. 12.
New Cross, Hatcham,
May 16. 1846.
Dear Powell,
Many thanks for “Alfieri”: I am not aware that you have any books of mine—but two old pamphlets you have, which I should be glad to get whenever you are in the way of sending. One is Tennyson’s “Lovers Tale”—and the other, a number of the “Foreign Review” containing an article on “Tasso and Chatterton” with M∙S. corrections. But put yourself to no trouble about the matter.
Ever yours very sincerely,
R Browning.
Publication: None traced.
Manuscript: Michael Meredith.
