My dear Robert, Present my kindest love & sincerest congratulations to Elizabeth on the accession to your family– I can truly say, with sincere gratitude to Almighty God whilst I write it, that if it shall prove as great a comfort to you, as yourself & Sarianna have ever been to me—it will be the greatest blessing heaven could have bestowed upon you– That it may long live to be an honour & a comfort to you & your amiable wife, is the sincerest prayer of your ever

Affectionate father

R Browning
