1. This postscript is written on the verso of RB’s sketch, which he used as a cover sheet for his letter, no longer extant. The sketch, titled “(Small part of view from the window here),” contains descriptive labels that read, from left to right: “S Domenico”; “Tower, La Mangia, Lionardo da V. came to study”; “Palazzo Municipale”; “olive groves & vines”; “Campanile”; “Unfinished part of original design”; “Cathedral”; and “Carmine.”
