Dear Miss Wynn,

How very good & considerate of you to think of me on this occasion! I will accept the ticket with great pleasure. Have you really called on us a second time & were we so unfortunate as to be abroad? We must try seriously to remedy all this in some degree as soon as you are better—both of us being, in the meantime, grieved indeed to hear that you are at present suffering. My wife is far from well—thro’ the weather, no doubt: the child is quite recovered apparently.
