Yes, I have been a very bad Ba .. there is no denying. But we have waited to see light through our engagements, & to fix on a day on which we designed to beg you to pass a few hours with us .. as the best beginning of intercourse–
Yes .. we will go to you, in spite of all such designs, on wednesday– You, the seer, & the chrystal ball, (everyone of you attractive by itself,) are irresistible in combination. We will also try to bring you Sarianna,—and I shall have faith enough for us three .. enough, perhaps, to neutralize the scepticism of two–
And then we can fix on an evening which you will be generous enough to give us .. will you not, dear Fanny? Robert’s love as ever–
