My dear Milnes,

I am scarcely sure that I understand your meaning—except that it is a kind one. Do you wish us to go to you in the evening? Or to sit with you at your dinner,—having previously dined at 2 oclock, as our way is? I want to see as much of you as I can, and will do either, with great pleasure,—my wife consenting with a like feeling.
