1. RB inscribed a copy of Casa Guidi Windows to “William Allingham, Esq., with Robert Browning’s best regard. 19 August 1852.” The copy of Poems (1850) is inscribed by EBB: “With Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s kind regards to Mr. Allingham– London– 1852” (see Reconstruction, C18 and C92).
