I condescend, my dear Mrs Kemble .. I always do condescend to be pleased .. but I cant attain. I, too, am not well enough to stir a step even if paradise were that way—and I shall leave my ‘half’ as you say, or rather three quarters, to represent me.

He will talk to you too about the note of last night–
