Dear Sir,
I wrote to you some time ago begging for the account to the end of June, and that you would be at the trouble to procure certain books (—this was my wife’s commission—) [1] and consign the same to Mrs Stuart who would call for them. I conclude that you supposed I wished for the account by the same conveyance,—as it has not come by post: but Mrs Stuart has returned without being able to call on you, not taking London by her way. Will you have the goodness therefore to send the account at once—as it particularly interests us: and leave the books till I find a fit convoy for the same? I stay here all the summer–
