Dear Browning– Will you bring me your friend Lytton tonight, or tomorrow night? or if he cannot come, come yourself? How is Mrs Browning? I am getting quite comfortably settled by degrees, & shall very soon make my way again to the Rue de Grenelle to look after her–

1. Conjectural dating suggested by Mrs. Sartoris’s remarks about “getting … comfortably settled” and making her “way again to the Rue de Grenelle.” She called on the Brownings sometime prior to 15 November, probably not long after her arrival in Paris (see letter 3677). The first Sunday after the 15th was the 18th.
