My dear Mr Ruskin

I dont take your advice, you see, (your kindness, instead) & on I come to England in the face of common sense & friendly warning. What is one to do, with sisters & others waiting to be seen after three years?—— I had your letter at Paris– It was very pleasant to both of us–

So now I do your bidding & tell you that we arrived in London at three oclock in the morning yesterday—or rather, at our rooms here, 13 Dorset street, Baker street. If you come to see us, it will be a great pleasure, & help to lift up a flap of this heavy sky which falls so low on our heads even in July–

With our united regards to yourself .. & your mother, may I say? ..
