344. EBB to Henrietta Moulton-Barrett

My dearest Henrie<tta>,

Do go into my room, & take Dr Adam Clarke’s Bibles [2] which are lying upon the large paper parcels. Then open my table drawer where you will see a piece of paper about the size of the piece on which I am writing, containing some references to passages in the commentary. Tie this up with the Bibles, & take care that you dont allow the letters & papers to slip out of them—& consign them to Henry. The parcel is too heavy to be sent by a foot carrier from Hope End to Malvern, & there are many opportunities to send it from hence. So much for business.

Mr Fitzherbert is going thro’ Hereford on Tuesday, & will take my parcel to Sir Uvedale. Henry & I have been disputatious tonight, & we have had the Catholic & Protestant bibles in controversy. Mrs Trant is very comfortable & well; & sends her best love to you. Tell me what I had better do about going home, if Dominick does not come on Tuesday—for I am really in a fidget & anxious to see you. I wish if possible, to be kind to Mrs Trant & to myself! Love to everybody of all sizes—to dear dear Bummy of course!–
