My dearest Sophie we will blot out yesterday (oh, how tired I was!—five visitors more, afterwards!) with whatever kind of blot you choose. You are so kind– After twelve this morning I am yours– In the afternoon from half past three, I am engaged with people coming– How often I cry out for the mountains to cover me [2] —only not from the face of the Lord.
