My dearest Isa how sorry, how vexed I am. I promised to go out with Mrs Eckley today, having refused her yesterday, & now I cant alter the arrangement. Ask me again, & you shall see–
I wish you had said how you were, dear dear Isa–
Peni is charmed with dear Lytton’s gift to him (how too kind of Lytton!) and had printed ‘Ferdinando Romagnoli’ before breakfast the next morning.
I wont keep Ansano. Best love to both your children. [2] I hope they are very good. Robert is out–
