Dear Mr Mignaty,

I could not find you at your Studio yesterday: and, in case I should be equally unsuccessful this morning, I write this to say that Mr Ogilvy has given instructions that your draft on him (David Ogilvy Esq) for £9.17.6. be immediately paid at “the London Joint Stock Bank, 69. Pall Mall, London.”

Yours very faithfully

Robert Browning

Publication: None traced.

Manuscript: Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Firenze.

1. Conjectural date based on RB’s communication of David Ogilvy’s instructions concerning payment to Mignaty, which logically follows letter 4173 and precedes letter 4184.
