I send what you ask for, my dearest Sophie—but I am ashamed–
Dear, how strange! how wonderful. But your fear .. why do you fear? So much I have to say but cannot– I am so engaged, so hung about with chains—at this moment–
Tomorrow I shall be yours if you care to have me– Yet no– Rather, come to us tomorrow, you & dear Mr Eckley, for the evening,—and I wont drive at all, so as not to be tired. I was wrong in imagining that Robert was engaged for thursday, & we shall both be free & delighted to have you on that evening, if you will come then–
