I was just going to write to you dearest dear Sophie, to ask you not to come today– I am feeling so tired & nervous that absolute rest & reticence is necessary to me– But tomorrow all will be right again, just as yesterday all was beautiful & pleasant.
Peni is better, & we all love you– I wish you had said that you yourself had not suffered from the fatigue–
