I am tired, dearest Sophie—could’nt sleep last night, & having ‘sate’ for nearly two hours today, [2] feel the whole oppressive influence of the weather– It will be a relief when this picture is done–
For the rest, I have not ‘written,’—no– Therefore you are ill-informed– Mr Sumner was to go this morning– Odo Russell was at Mr Story’s last night, & I heard a good deal that was deeply interesting to me about my Italy–
