Offered for sale in Sotheby’s Catalogue, 9 December 1901, lot 95. 2 pp., 8vo. Thanking Major Gillum [1] for a present, RB writes: “Let me send you some photographs just made in Rome, which your kindness makes me hope you will keep for our sakes. The boy on the pony is from a charming picture by Hamilton Wild, an American artist of various power and greater promise.”
