Dear Friends,

You will in all probability have heard from me before you receive this—which is just meant to accompany the photographs [1] I have an opportunity of sending. I received your combined letters at St Enogat, and will answer them the moment I am settled in London—whither I go in a day or two: but I cannot say too often how grateful I am for your goodness.

Let William take care of his health, on which so much depends—and fight like the man he is against all these adverse influences. [2] What a comfort if I can see you again in the summer!
