As published in The Brownings’ Correspondence, 30, 49.

Upper Westbourne Terrace
Saturday [ca. March 1862] [1]
Dear Milnes,
I find, to my vexation, that I ought to have given Tuesday, & not Monday as my disengaged morning. If I hear nothing to the contrary I shall suppose that you will accept the substitution; & there will be no fresh blunder on my part–
Ever yours truly
R Browning.
Publication: None traced.
Manuscript: Trinity College, Cambridge.
