<***> amusing letter I had from my sweet Henrietta last Saturday. Were she not so engaged I would send her more of my words than the few I wish to inclose but perhaps she would rather I should have consideration for her eyes & keep my letter until she has in some way performed her part in the arrangements. And dearest Arabel too I am sure she deserves one of my best written Epistles for the many she has sent me without an answer to any but I mean to tell her all my pen ought to have said which will be the most satisfactory way at least to myself. Now my beloved Ba. I must wish that you may sleep calmly for it is time for myself and little household to go to rest. May you sleep well & feel better in th Morng is my fervent Prayer. My affectionate love to all near you. Ever my sweetest Ba’s affectionate Bummy.

Arlette & Sissy were so pleased with the kind messages from H & yourself I gave them her kisses & your love. You would be fond of them, they are so good & so very amiable in dispositions. Poor little dears. They seem so happy with me! Tell your dear Papa with my love the enclosed little offering is the firstling of my Flock!
