Dear Mrs Grant Duff,

I am engaged neither for Wednesday nor Saturday next—for Sunday, yes: if you care to have me either on the 24th or 27th [1] I shall be very glad: but should any claim on those days have come this morning—you will only do justice to me in saying so—& you need not decide before Monday morning.
