My dear Harry,
I can’t help writing one more word of thanks to you and Amelia—unnecessary as it may be, for you know how I must feel—and saying that, whenever I look at Pen’s red cheeks and cheerful ways, and hear him talk about your extreme kindness to him, I am grateful indeed. He goes about his work like a good fellow and confirms me in my satisfaction at having indulged him to his heart’s content for once: That’s all—so good bye and God bless you both!
Yours very affectionately
