10-o’clock-Thursday Morning—10 November [1864] [1]

I heard this morg from Mr Mohl [2] ——The Storys left on the 5th for Rome: he looks very ill & has had an ab[s]cess in the Kidneys!!!!———which bursting enabled him to leave Paris!——— But, it was thought imprudent to travel so soon! God Speed them dear People!——— I thought you would like to hear according to what we said last Night? & So give you intelligence Εωθεν [3] ——take it in good part & take no notice to the Storys about the abcess———Because Perhaps he had rather tell you himself——?
