My dear Sir

Many thanks for your letter & the Document which were received this morning: concerning the latter I have written my Cousin, Robert Landor: I suspect there is now no difficulty about carrying the Will into effect, except what arises from his tardiness & habits of procrastination: to those we must yield, for he is most immovable, especially in cases of so little importance. I am only concerned to fulfil as far as possible, my promises to my Uncle Walter; & I have no doubt I shall succeed, in time. I wld fain hear that Made Romagnoli receives the small bequests intended to be transfered to her, before she leaves Florence; perhaps her intention to do so may serve as an argument for attending to the business, some day. I am amused at Orestes & Pylades; will it be possible ever to make Englishmen of them? Surely she had better take them into Greece. I am sincerely glad you have received agreeable letters from my Uncle Robert, who seems well pleased with the possession of the Pictures. Thank you much for all the kind things you say; accept truest regards from my Uncle Henry & believe me ever
