I hope Atlœus will soon send Corderoy [1] ––– I am quite impatient, an old edition is most rare–––the new ones are silly––– which is a Pity for so Wise a Book––––?— The scrap is very amusing––– I am afraid of asking you to Dinner you are so much engaged––– But the 1st of March being Ash Wednesday & people in this Country very devout & devoted to Salt fish––– You might perchance be disengaged?–– in which case I hope you will wine at ¼ before 8––– Wednesday, 1 March––––?——
