May 18th [1865] [1]
My dear Mr Browning
Here is some mistake! It was not Saturday I asked you to come to us but Wednesday week, the 31st instant.
I am very sorry for the head ache—pray rest as much as possible. Such a pain I know makes enjoyment impossible;—but if it is better, & you can come to us on the 31st it will make me very happy.
With Mr Martin’s most kind regards, I am always sincerely yours,
Helena. F. Martin.
