My dear Mr Browning

You expressed your willingness that we should still have a Golden Treasury selection from your poems, when I saw you on Sunday at Palgrave’s. Would you mind coming here one day soon and talking over the matter. I think I see my way to a quite new Selection which should not interfere with any existing one, and which might be of use to the public by making them better acquainted with a great poet, and which also would do no harm to the said great poet.
