Dearest Edie,

If we go to Mount Felix on Saturday shall we find you alone, and will Mrs Sturgis bear with all this stupid fuss that I seem to make, and let us come early, and give us some luncheon, and let us go—not late?

If visitors are expected, we will take another Saturday: that goose—Pen would not go without me, finding that I really meant to go some time or other!
