Dear Mr Macmillan,

I shall be very glad to call on you—say, next Monday at 1½. I could only speak certainly, you know, about the re-issue of that particular Selection which Chapman was willing to “go shares in”: however, it can do no harm, and will interest me besides, to hear your new-plan. [1]
