I hardly know whether it is necessary to repeat that I will dine with you all, and be most happy to do so, next Wednesday—as I said so at first: but “plus non vitiat,” [1] —they hold in law-matters.
You are all too kind and generous—and I have nothing but the gratitude for that to give in return.
