I hope you will be able to give us the pleasure of your company at dinner next Tuesday, the 10th at ¼ to 8. You will meet M. de Circourt, [2] whom I think you know. He has only just come to town from Yorkshire, and he goes back to Paris on Wednesday; that is why I give you such improperly short notice.
