Dear Mr Browning

I think that you may write to Dr Scott [2] & say that as your Son is young you dont wish him to reside until Oct. 1867 at the soonest, but that you would prefer to have him wait until Jan. 1868. He will not be likely to make any objection.

I write in haste– I have a most pleasant recollection of your visit: [3]
