Dear Lady Westmorland,
I am sure your kindness will let me say how happy I am to hear you are better. It was a disappointment, indeed, last week, to find you were not returned to Town, and for such a reason. These two or three words tell you nothing, but they are a sort of relief to me, so I write them. May I soon see you in your usual health!
Very sincerely yours ever
Robert Browning.
