I am vexed & sorry to have to go away without at least a word of assurance that you are much better, or nearly well again. I go (leave this evening for Paris) to Croisic, Loire Inférieure, for a couple of months. If you can spare time to write the merest report of your convalescence, it will be a real comfort & delight to me. As it is, I can only wish you, and yours, all good and happiness, and that I do from my heart. With truest regard to Mrs Lytton, in which my Sister joins, I am ever
