I am requested by my Colleagues to ask you whether you will deliver a lecture in this College some time in the spring on any subject you choose. We propose to have a course of six or seven such lectures open to the public, and we have promises from Mr Goldwin Smith, [2] Sir John Lubbock, [3] Mr Masson.
