Eagles & Crosse have both been in town and I have spent the last 10 days in a whirl—now over– Yet a proof would have been a pleasure– Have you had none—? Have you been unwell—? I meant to have called today but it is a ¼ to 5—and I am still in the house & it is now too late–

In the hurry yesterday I hardly spoke to Arabella, and—proh! pudor—did not ask about you–
