My dear Sir
Three days have nearly slipped by since I received your poem, [1] and a family which came to Bath about the same time, claiming all the rights of old acquaintance, has prevented me from enjoying it. With many thanks, I remain, My dear Sir,
Your very obliged
W S Landor
